Shalom friends!

Join us this Saturday as we continue to study Torah together. We’ll meet at 9:30am to explore parashat Lech Lecha, as we begin Abraham’s (and our own) Journey. To learn more you can go here.

This Friday is Israel JazzPhest at CBE! Friday night services and jazz concert, all starting at the regular 6:30pm time (Nosh at 5:30pm). Come on out for some music and joy!

Continuing on Wednesdays  Hollywood Bible returns for 10 weeks as we continue our exploration of King David’s story, now through II Samuel.

 

Tuesday November 15: DOWNTOWN LUNCHTIME INTERFAITH TEXT STUDY! CBE members meet with members of the Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew (SsAM) in joint text study on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Bring your own lunch; bring your own Bible. Fellowship begins at 11:30; discussion at 11:45am. Finished by 1pm. November sessions – 11/1 and 11/15 —  are at SsAM, 719 N. Shipley St., Wilmington. For details about directions/parking, contact Christina Lee CSB1148@msn.com  December sessions will be at CBE.

Sunday November 20th: Join us at 9:30am for Global Day of Jewish Learning, and a special discussion of Judaism and our Earth!

 

Also Sunday 11/20 at 4pm at Christ Church Christiana Hundred, join us and other houses of worship as we prepare Thanksgiving Meals for the needy, then stay for a pot-luck dinner. A chance to make our community better and be in fellowship with one another.

Tuesday, November 22nd Join us and our choir at Hanover Presbyterian for an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service and dinner. 5:30pm dinner, service at 7pm. A chance to offer gratitude and be in community.
